The very successful toothpaste and toothbrush campaign that was held in June allowed us to do a distribution at the school today. See the Toothbrushes and Paste album!

The distributions of both the June and July shipments happened in Dekpor today. Oh what fun!

Another trip for Abraham and Linda to pick up the shipments. A second vehicle was needed!

After a couple of days in Accra getting items for our newly-sponsored students who will be starting apprenticeships, Abraham and Linda stopped at the shipper to cram in as many of the items that would fit! Wouldn't you know it, the loads that left Aurora in June and July all ended up on the same ship!

We are grateful for all the work that has been recently done in the school's computer lab and in key locations in town. More than 500 m of networking cable was installed in the computer lab. There is also a new router, networking box, antenna, and lightning arresters have been installed in three key town locations. See the Computer Lab Improvements album for more info!

We are thrilled that so many new students are being sponsored! Thank you to every single person who noticed the Facebook campaign and chose to join our family of incredible student sponsors! Changing lives, one child at a time!

We have started new and improved sports courts at Dekpor Basic School! We'll share the album next month.

A biodigester toilet is in the works… to be finalized in September!

Carol, with the help of Andrew Sanderson, saw another shipment on its way! These two loads were mainly furniture and larger items. A special shout out to Dara and School House Products for supplying new feet for the chairs!

Augustine Awiah, a professional Ghanaian football (soccer) player, was in Dekpor for a couple of weeks to work with our students and coaches! See Step By Step.
