This is a page that grows throughout the year, thanks to the many people in the Aurora, Ontario area who like to donate goods!
When the stars align--meaning we have the funds, the time, and the space--a collection starts. Countless hours are put into prepping items before they leave Ontario, then there is a 2 month voyage, and then in Dekpor, there is plenty of organization before a distribution can take place. Yes, it is a LOT of work, but man, just look at these faces! Some recipients are overwhelmed because getting an item is unexpected and a serious event. Others can't help but show their smiles of delight.
What is most needed? Gently used cell phones and laptops. Always.
