We never know what is going to end up in this album! Here is where we show some of the smaller scale projects that DSDO takes on.
All year- we have monthly donors (Barb, Tom & Linda, Lucy, Dave & Judy) who cover the expense of soap, bleach, and cleaning tools for the school! What a great thing to be able to provide!
February - Benjamin, one of our first and longest sponsored students, is now a fully-certified electrician. He came to Dekpor for 2 weeks to do a variety of jobs for us and we are so grateful we can properly compensate someone whose work we trust!
April - Dome tower repairs
June - masonary repairs to many of our structures around town
July - lightning rod grounding at school and shops
July - electrical improvements and repairs
October - the fascia on the teachers' toilet building needed replacing
October - desk repairs at Dekpor Basic
October and November - We've brought in consultants to do a series of workshops for the teachers at Dekpor Basic. We want to encourage hands-on learning!
November - repairs to the school security system
November - replacement of whiteboards in classrooms where needed
December - purchased new fire extinguishers for the school
